The Garmin Quest is an auto routing GPS designed to provide automatic route calculations including voice guidance. Turn-by-turn instructions and detailed maps are presented on a bright, sunlight-readable color display. Detailed street maps along with points of interest are transferred from CD-ROM through a USB connection; built-in memory provides 115 MB of map storage. It can be powered using the external speaker with 12V adapter cable or A/C power adapter (both included). Built-in lithium-ion batteries allow hand-held operation. Although small enough to fit in your pocket, the Quest is rugged enough to use every day.
